To date is the current king of the battery for the smartphone. At least according to the benchmark results carried out by Phonearena.com on Xperia models Z3 and Z3 Compact, both breaking records in their respective categories.
Xperia Z3 managed to survive almost nine and a half hours with the screen on the condition of uniform brightness settings and the tasking scripts running on it. The result, whiz Sony outperformed other products even exceed Mate7 Ascend, which is equipped with a 4100 mAh battery, the Z3 only has a capacity of 3100 mAh in the body as thin as 7.3 mm and water resistant.
The most prominent result is Z3 Compact, with a 14-hour endurance test with 44 minutes on the 4.6 HD screen and 2600 mAh battery, with normal use which can hold approximately up to three days.
Battery life is also better than the Z3 Z2, which already has a great battery life, so kudos to Sony here, made more durable with a smaller battery, compared to Z2.
Sony screen may not be the best when talking about the color representation and viewing angles, but it uses a very efficient battery technology, and the screen is the component with the highest battery consumption on our smartphones.
