Benchmark Results iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

 



Although recently sold, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has undergone various tests. Of tests falling, now iPhone 6 also tests performance with Geekbench test. Menggeber popular benchmark with the CPU and RAM through a variety of tests to determine the final score of the single-core and multi-core processors.

The results are quite interesting. iPhone 6 to beat the iPhone 6 plus in the second test, the single-core and multi-core performance. Score

1627 and 2920 points, while the iPhone 6 Plus 1481 and 2662 points for each outcome single-core and multi-core result

After digging deeper, know why it could happen since both use the same chipset A8 are both dual-core. Clock speed of the processor in the iPhone 6 is detected 1.39GHz, while that in the bigger brother running at 70MHz with a lower speed at 1.32GHz. There is a difference in RAM capacity as well, but very little as possible. RAM memory is reported for the iPhone 6 is 987MB, while the iPhone 6 Plus 975MB.

Small differences in the specifications of the CPU and RAM is not enough to justify a large gap in test scores. The most plausible explanation is Geekbench suite itself has not been optimized for the Apple A8 architecture and have little variation in the results.
