Yahoo reportedly will acknowledge the message service company, MessageMe. The agreement has not been confirmed by Yahoo, but rumors circulated as reported by TechCrunch.
Reported by Ubergizmo, Monday (10/06/2014), recent reports circulating that Yahoo will reveal MessageMe acquired at a cost of up to USD11,9 million. An earlier report revealed that the giant companies will be annexed MessageMe email with cost below $ 10 million or single-digit millions.
For those of you who are not familiar with MessageMe, mobile messaging app is similar to WhatsApp. This application has attracted up to 5 million users in 2.5 months after the date of its release.
According to reports, with the acquisition of Yahoo would do, some teams in MessageMe will go to Yahoo. Not yet known whether Yahoo plans to keep MessageMe still exist after the acquisition.
As is known, Yahoo has bought several enterprise applications such as Aviate, who created the Android launcher. In addition, the company also annexed Tumblr, Blink, and Rockmelt.
