Google Helped Enliven the National Batik Day




This year, the National Batik Day enters its sixth year. Society Indonesian Batik Day is celebrated mostly by wearing shades of batik clothing.

Not to be outdone, Google also enliven Batik Day this year by making a special Doodle on the Google search engine page Indonesia (google.co.id).

Google Doodle, today is Thursday (10/02/2014), featuring images of six people who wear clothing with a variety of batik patterns. Six people berbatik replaces the Google logo or writing commonly displayed on the site Google Indonesia.

On October 2, designated as National Batik Day, after President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on 17 November 2009 issued Presidential Decree No. 33 Year 2009 on National Batik Day.
